Breeze block, star pattern

2016.3.1 c. 1972 Concrete 300 × 300 × 100 mm

A pierced block that makes a wall you can see through and air can move through. Cast at Rockfort in four patterns; the star sold best and is on walls from Harbour View to Montego Bay.

Ours came out of a 1972 wall taken down in 2016. It is on the floor at eye height so the pattern can be read from both sides, which is the only way to read it.
