Still head, copper

1979.5 c. 1910 Copper, brazed 840 mm across the base

Raised from sheet copper over a stake and brazed at one seam, which you can find by running a finger inside. The swan neck was cut off before it came to us.

Copper is not decoration here: it takes the sulphur out of the spirit as it passes. Worthy Park replaced it and kept it in a shed for sixty years before it reached the register.
