Coral stone cuts soft out of the ground and hardens in the air, which is how Falmouth got its street fronts up quickly. The tooling marks on the underside are still crisp because they were never weathered.
Salvaged in 1972 when the building behind it came down. We took the head and the two jambs; only the head is out on the floor.
